Dress up frozen peas with golden slivered almonds—ready to serve with almost any meal in a mere 10 minutes.


  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 3 1/2 cups Green Giant® Valley Fresh Steamers® frozen sweet peas (from two 12-oz bags), thawed, drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  1. In 10-inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Cook almonds in butter 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until light brown.
  2. Stir in peas and salt. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until peas are tender.
