Maple Cinnamon Z’Oats Recipe

Start your morning off with “zoats” – a tasty way to add veggies to your breakfast oatmeal. The hearty taste of zucchini bread in half the time. Customize to your liking by adding your favorite toppings.

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 cups almond or your favorite milk

1 package Green Giant® Veggie Spirals® Zucchini, thawed and drained well

1 cup McCann’s® Quick Cooking Rolled Irish Oats

3 tablespoons Maple Grove® Farms Pure Maple Syrup

1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Nutmeg

Optional toppings: sliced almonds or chopped walnuts, assorted fresh and/or dried fruits

DIRECTIONS

Add milk and Green Giant® Veggie Spirals® Zucchini to medium saucepan and bring to a boil.

Stir in McCann’s® Quick Cooking Rolled Irish Oats, maple syrup, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Simmer 1 minute, remove from heat and let stand until desired thickness.

Serve with toppings.
